2007 MARKS THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF

SUNSEED NATURAL FOODS STORE

We are very proud to celebrate Sunseed's  30th year in business.   Originally established in downtown West Bend by Joy M Kilby, mother of present owner Debby and her husband Jim Lewis.  The first store was located at 112 North Main St. in downtown West Bend.  The 300 square-foot store remained there until 1984 when they moved to 1017  South Main.  By 1996 Sunseed expanded to it's current 5,000 square-foot spot at 1015 South Main Street.

Dawn Krenz, aunt of Debby Lewis  is the co-manager.  Dawn has been with Sunseed since the beginning.  She  is always willing to help customers stay on track with their  healthy lifestyles, by assisting them with supplements and natural food choices.

Debby Lewis started learning about natural healing in an effort to help her mother Joy Kilby , who was diagnosed with cancer at a young age.  Given five years to live, Kilby lived another 15 years, thanks to healthy lifestyle changes and nutritional supplements claims Debby.

Jim Lewis is president of the National Nutritional Foods Association's Midwest region (NNFA), which covers 10 states, including Wisconsin.  Sunseed joined NNFA for its code of ethics.  Everything we sell is endorsed by the NNFA.  The products have been in the industry for 20, 25 years.

Our first location in 1997
